My Medicare

MyMedicare is a new voluntary patient registration model. It aims to strengthen the relationship between patients, their general practice, general practitioner and primary care teams.

At Newdegate Street Health Centre we offer benefits over and above what other clinics may provide their patients.

Benefits of Registering at Newdegate Street Health Centre are:

  • Higher priority appointment slot for your preferred GP
  • Same day appointment guarantee for emergencies (some limitations apply)
  • Bulk Billed Care Plans
  • Bulk Billed Health Assessment
  • Bulk Billed Heart health Check
  • Bulk Billed Medication Reviews
  • Bulk Billed 10minutes consult (Under 16 and concession card holder only)

You are eligible to register for MyMedicare if:

  1. Have a valid Medicare card or Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) Veteran Card, and;
  2. Had 2 or more face-to-face appointments with us in the previous 24 months

There are a number of ways you can register:

  1. Start the registration process in your Medicare Online Account or Express Plus Medicare Mobile app.
  2. Fill out a registration form with our lovely receptionists.
  3. You can ask us to start your registration in MyMedicare
    This will trigger a registration in your Medicare Online Account or Express Plus Medicare Mobile app, which you can then complete.
